Kate Shelley & the Bridge of Darkness is a 3D animated short inspired by the true story of Kate Shelley, a teenage hero from 19th-century Iowa. The film follows Kate as she braves a storm and crosses a damaged railroad bridge to warn an approaching passenger train of the wreckage ahead.

This project was my first experience working on an animated production. Over nearly two years, I collaborated with a team of 27 artists, contributing five character models, environment assets, 3D layouts, and animation. Along the way, I gained a deeper understanding of the animation pipeline and discovered an interest in both the creative and production sides of the industry.
